Ranking The Teams With The Most Premier League Goals So Far This Season

  There have been goals galore in the English Premier League this season with Manchester United winning 5-1 against Leeds United in their first game of the season and Liverpool and Brentford playing an interesting 3-3 draw in gameweek 6.

   Liverpool Football Club is the team that has scored the highest number of goals this season. The Merseyside club has scored seventeen goals in the league this season. They currently occupy the second position on the log with 15 points. Liverpool is followed by Chelsea. The Blues have scored fifteen goals and are currently top of the table with sixteen points.  

   Manchester City, Manchester United, and West Ham United are third, fourth, and fifth on the list of most goals scored respectively. They are all tied on fourteen goals scored this season. On the league standings, Manchester City is ranked third, Manchester United fourth, and West Ham United ninth.

  Everton Football Club has started the season on a bright note having acquired 14 points and joint-fourth with Manchester United, Manchester City, and Brighton and Hove Albion. The Merseyside club has scored 13 goals this season with a large chunk of those scored by Andros Townsend and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. They are ranked sixth on the list of most goals scored this season.

    English Premier League newcomer Brentford has scored the seventh-highest number of goals this season after seven matches. Brentford has scored ten goals this season with three of those coming in an exhilarating 3-3 draw against Liverpool. The newcomer is currently seventh on the log with 12 points. Aston Villa round up the top eight having also scored ten goals in the league this season. They are presently occupying the tenth position on the league standings with ten points to their name this season.
