WAT VS MUN: VAR's Decision In Favour Of Manchester United In The First Half

The English premier league fixture between Watford and Manchester United is on the play as both teams are putting up great efforts to ensure that they win. However, there was a decision made by the Referee in the first half of the match that was in favour of Manchester United. A mistake by Scott McTominay in the 6th minute of the first goal conceded a penalty for Watford for pushing Joshua in the box. However, after awarding the penalty, the Manchester United goal keeper, David de Gea saved the penalty, but he was not able to save the rebound by Femenia in the 6th minute. After Femenia scored the rebound, the Referee paused the match to check the execution of the penalty. However, after the check by the Referee by means of the Video Assistant Referee, the goal by Femenia was ruled out by Referee, but was to be retaken. After it was retaken, the Manchester United Goal keeper, David de Gea also sucedded in saving the penalty kick, therefore saving Manchester United from an early goal in the first half of their match against Watford.
