Liverpool to lift the premier league trophy on July 22.

The match between Liverpool and Chelsea has been postponed from July 18 to July 22 due to the European league semi-final match between Manchester United and Chelsea which will take place on July 19, 2020

The match was to take place on July 18 , but due to the FA cup semi final between Chelsea and Manchester United, the match was postponed to July 22.

Liverpool are set to be presented with the Premier League trophy when they meet Chelsea in their final home game of the season, scheduled for July 22.The 30-year wait for a league title on Merseyside was brought to an end on June 25 as Liverpool were confirmed Premier League champions.

Liverpool were crowned premier league champions for the first time as Manchester City lost 2-1 at Chelsea on Thursday night. The Reds' win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday meant just two points were required to seal the title.

Liverpool fans excited to finally see their team lift the Premier League trophy need to wait until their final home game of the season on July 22.

Premier League willhold the ceremony at Anfield, albeit while observing social-distancing protocols, urging all fans and supporters to stay at home and celebrate with them to reduce the risk of the spread of coronavirus.
