Nigerian musicians have mastered their crafts and they have been representing the country well in foreign lands. Among others, Musicians like Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy are known worldwide and their music has been widely accepted.
It is amazing to see foreign football players singing and dancing to Nigerian songs. It shows how hard working and talented Nigerian artistes are. Chelsea’s defender, Antonio Rudiger has revealed in one of his interviews that he personally love listening to Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy because their music makes him happy.
Rudiger added that Chelsea players listen to Nigerian songs a lot and it gives them joy. Below are the list of some Nigerian artistes, whose music have been heard within the walls of Chelsea football club.
Augustine Miles Kelechi popularly known as Tekno, is one of the biggest Nigerian musicians. He is talented and has been consistent for many years. Tekno’s song however made it to the Chelsea dressing room recently, when the club won Super cup.
A video surfaced online where Chelsea players were dancing to Tekno’s song titled “Skeletun”, on the night they defeated Villarreal to win Super cup. Check out the video here
Ibrahim Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is a talented Nigerian singer. He is often regarded as the biggest musician in Nigeria, alongside Davido and Burna Boy. A video once surfaced online, where Chelsea players were seen dancing to a song which features Wizkid. You can watch the video here
