Ighalo is a devoted Christian who also often dedicates part of his wages for Nigerian charitable organizations to help impoverished children, schools and widows who are less privileged. He is also a lifelong Manchester United supporter and he has always been vocal about it. He has made 363 club football appearances, scoring 141 goals in his professional career, and he has scored 16 goals in 35 appearances for the super eagles of Nigeria.
Odion Jude Ighalo has been married to his wife Sonia Ighalo since 2009, and it was reported that he dumped her in January for disrespecting his family ( his mother and late sister). They both have three children together, two boys and one girl. See lovely photos of the family below.
