Nigerian youngster likened to Mbappe wins first league title and was named the MVP of the league

Young Nigeria striker, Abubakar Garba has been voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the just concluded Kwara Youth League in Ilorin. 

The young striker who is likened to France striker, Kylian Mbappe because of his pace, skills, and finishing was part of the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) U-15 team that won the 2019/2020 season of the league over the weekend. 

Kwara Football Academy (KFA) won the tournament by defeating SC Primisport Lasora 1-0 in the final of the Kwara Youth League Super Six tournament.

The only goal of the game was scored by Shamsudeen Ishiaq in the thirteenth minute. 

Kwara Youth League which kicked off in November 2019 by was suspended in March because of the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. 

After the ban on football was lifted in the country, the League Management Committee (LMC) of the league decided to end the league with a Super Six tournament.

The skinny striker was named the MVP of the league because of his tremendous performance both in the league and the Super Six tournament. 

Abubakar Garba scored four goals in four games at the Super Six tournament while he scored seven goals in eleven matches in the league proper. 

Also, the youngster was named Kwara Football Academy (KFA) Most Valuable Player of the Year at their award night for the year.
