The English Premier League resumes this weekend, and a number of players will be absent for a variety of reasons. Several of these players will be absent owing to injuries, while others from South America will be absent due to their matches being played on Friday early, leaving little time for rehabilitation. Arsenal's forward sustained an injury during training and will thus miss Monday's match.
Since his side Brazil played their match this morning, the Manchester United midfielder is unlikely to feature or is uncertain.
The Chelsea defender, who is also Brazilian, is doubtful for the Brentford match because he played for Brazil on Friday and will consequently be unavailable for tomorrow's match.
The Manchester City player will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an injury during the international break.
