Meet the Nigerian striker who scored in every match he played for his club this month (Photos)

Super Eagles center forward - Paul Onuachu continued his incredible start to the 2021/22 campaign by scoring yet again for his club side. The 27 year old striker bagged a hat-trick for KRC Genk as they thrashed Belgium Pro League newcomers, Seraing by 3 goals to nil at the Luminus Arena in Genk.

Although he could have had more if he had kept his composure from the penalty spot in the first half but he missed it. However, he would make up for it in the best way possible by grabbing two quick fire goals on the brink of half time.

Onuachu then compensated for his penalty miss by converting another penalty he got in the second half to make it three for him and his team on the night.

It was the first time that Onuachu will be taking home the match ball this season and the fifth match in a row that he has scored in. After returning to Belgium from the last international break with the Super Eagles, Paul Onuachu has scored at least once in all the matches he has played for his club in the month of September (a total of 8 goals in his last five matches).

Below is a breakdown of all the matches which the Owerri-born striker has scored in September:

(September 12) Genk 1-1 Royale Union SG - Belgium Pro League

(September 16) Rapid Vienna 0-1 Genk - UEFA Europa League

(September 19) Sint Truiden 1-2 Genk - Belgium Pro League

(September 22) Antwerp 4-2 Genk - Belgium Pro League [2 goals]

(September 26) Genk 3-0 Seraing - Belgium Pro League [3 goals]

Onuachu has been maintaining incredible goalscoring numbers since his transfer move from FC Midtjylland in Denmark to KRC Genk. The 6ft 7inches (2.01m) player recorded 33 goals and 5 assists in 38 league games last season to win the golden boot and most valuable player awards. This season, he has picked up from where he left with 9 league goals in 8 games as well as his goal in their UEFA Europa League opening match.

If he keeps going like this, we won't be surprised if he earns a big money transfer move to a top team in Europe in a near future.
