Super Eagles of Nigeria star Oluwasemilogo Ajayi was on action for English Championship side West Bromwich Albion football club on Friday night, and he was able to guide them to a remarkable 1-0 win over Birmingham City FC.
The Arsenal Hale Academy product retained his spot in the home team's starting eleven and he was able to impress in the game.
Semi Ajayi started in West Bromwich Albion's defence line alongside Kyle Bartley and Matt Clarke and the trio were superb in the game.
Both teams tried so hard to break the deadlock in the first half of the game, but all their efforts were not successful, as the first half ended goalless.
Semi Ajayi was outstanding for the home team throughout the game, and he was able to guide them to a well deserved victory.
The 1-0 victory over Birmingham City FC has now taken West Bromwich Albion football club to the top spot of the English Championship table with 25 points from 12 matches played.
