International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) is continuing to recognize the top players from the last decade. This time around, the organization awarded the CONMEBOL player of the decade honor for 2011-2020, which went to FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
For the Fcbarcelona talisman Messi to claim this honor is not a surprise at all considering his accomplishments for Barca and the Argentine national team over the last decade.
Barcelona superstar, Legend Lionel Messi added another feather to his illustrious cap as he bagged the best "men's player of the decade" award on Sunday. The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) named Messi on the top position ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, and Andres Iniesta. The organization conducted a poll including its members from other 150 countries around the world to find the best men's player over the last decade. It also picked the best player for each continent. While Ronaldo picked up the award for the UEFA region, it was Messi who triumphed globally - as well as amongst the CONMEBOL nations.

The FCBarcelona Superstar Oshoala is Member of the Order of Niger. A title given to her by the Nigeria Government for her exploit in football. (born 9 October 1994) is Nigeria footballer who plays for Fcbarcelona Femení in the Primera División as a forward. She was named best player and was the highest goal scorer at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. She was also named best player and second top goalscorer with the Super Falcons team who won the 2014 African Women's Championship.
Barcelona forward was crowned as the best female footballer from the continent between the years 2011 to 2020.
For the national team, between 2011-2020, Oshoala won three African women’s championships with Nigeria and was also named CAF African women’s football of the year on four separate occasions.
The former Arsenal forward also has two best player and top scorer award from the African women’s championship and also featured at two FIFA senior world cups.
At the club, level, the 26-year-old won four titles with Nigerian side Rivers angels and a single English FA Cup with Arsenal Ladies in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Oshoala won the Chinese women’s super league in 2017 with Dalian Quanjian, before joining Barcelona where she won the league title last year and also became the first African to featured and scored in UEFA women’s champions league final.
