After defeating Zenith 1:0 on match day one, Chelsea's second UCL game in the group stages ended in a disappointing defeat to the Serie A giant. Federico Chiesa netted the only goal for the host few seconds into the second half.
1. Marcos Alonso.
From the left-wing back position, Marcos Alonso failed to pose any attacking threats against the Italian Serie A side and Ben Chilwell should have started the game ahead of the Spaniard.
Alonso was favored by Thomas Tuchel due to his brilliant start to the new season, but he failed to impress for the Blues yesterday, as most of the home team's attacking play passed through his position.
2. Kai Havertz.
The 22 year old has scored just one goal this season and he didn't provide any support for the Blues upfront.
The German International was able to receive the ball in good position but failed to make proper use of the chances.
