Cristiano Ronaldo's decision to leave Man Utd this summer is not because of money

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo told the club he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer. However, no club is willing to sign the 37 year old striker and he's currently unable to leave United.

Ronaldo is the highest goalscorer of all time in the UEFA Champions league history and he needs to continue playing UEFA Champions league football. The Portuguese forward has 5 UEFA Champions league title in his trophy cabinet and he still plan on winning another Champions league trophy before his retirement from football.

The 37 year old is willing to take 30% pay-cut inorder to leave Manchester United this summer according to Ben Jacobs. Ronaldo is willing to take a pay-cut inorder to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid but the club themselves are yet to officially submit an offer for him.

Atletico Madrid may not be able to sign Ronaldo this summer because of their financial position. Barcelona, PSG, Chelsea and Bayern Munich were offered the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo but they are not interested in him.

Ronaldo is still a brilliant striker, he scored 24 goals for Manchester United across all competitions last season and the Red devils want him to stay at Old Trafford. Erik ten Hag also want to work alongside the 37 year old forward next season.
