Nigerian midfielder leaves ABS FC in Ilorin for a European Club

Many talented footballers are in Nigeria, to fulfill their potentials, most of them wish, pray and work hard to the point that they join European clubs. The best footballers in the world play in Europe, and the most-watched football leagues in the world are in Europe.

ABS FC is Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club, and they play their home games in Ilorin. In 2017, they signed Mubarak Gata who was 14 years old at the time, and he was excited about the move.

He said his goal was to develop his talent in ABS, and he can be proud of himself to have done that to an extent. He recently completed his medical in Greek Club, Asteras Tripolis, and will play alongside Nigerian striker, Sudais Ali Baba.

Asteras is one of the oldest clubs in Greece, and they play in the Greek Super League and have won many trophies in the country. This is a good step from ABS FC, but a bigger step towards playing for bigger European clubs in the future.

Congratulations to him.
