Ronaldo looked a forlorn figure as the final whistle sounded.
It's easy to understand Ronaldo's frustration. United gave up a lead due to poor defence and then surrendered again after tying the game at 2-2. The forward will be dissatisfied with his own performance.
Ronaldo had an opportunity to increase United's advantage early on, but Kasper Schmeichel stopped his shot. This would have put United up 2-0 before the break, only for Leicester to equalize shortly after. His best chance in the second half came from a Marcus Rashford assist,
but he was unable to remain onside and ultimately missed the shot. By no means was Ronaldo the main issue; the defense and midfield were both terrible, but this was the kind of game where improvements were needed everywhere.
On Wednesday night, against Atalanta, more will be expected of United and Ronaldo.
