Former Italy striker Luca Toni, has spoken about the quality of Victor Osimhen. The Napoli striker has shown great improvement haven struggled to announce himself to the Serie A last season. But Luca Toni believed that the super eagles striker is capable of scoring atleast 25 goals in the Italian top flight.
During an interaction with Corriere Della Sera, the former Fiorentiana and Bayern Munich attacker expressed that he knew little of the Nigerian when he signed for Napoli and he believes that striker will produce atleast 25 goals under the guidance of Luciano Spalleti.
He said that, "In speed, then he's devastating. He reminds me of Andriy Shevchenko for the way he varies in attack and for his great speed. Before he arrived in Italy, I didn't know him well. I find him much improved from last year and I think it thanks to Spalletti, who is very demanding."
Luca Toni further expressed the opinion that another Nigerian (Tammmy Abraham) could score 25 goals. According to him, "Only he and (Tammy) Abraham can guarantee 25 goals in Serie A."
