The Super Falcons Of Nigeria Lost to South Africa in the final fixture of the Aisha Buhari Cup. The game ended 4-2 and the Banyana Banyana fully deserved their victory. We take a look at two wrong moves head coach Randy Waldrum made in the game.
1. Leaving Gift Monday Out Of The Starting XI: Randy Waldrum didn't name Gift Monday in the Starting XI despite her impressive display against Mali on Thursday. The young striker scored two late goals against the Malalins, and the Super Falcons looked dangerous with her on the pitch. The coach made a huge mistake by leaving her on the bench.
2. Using Desire Oparanozie In Attack: Oparanozie picked up an injury against Mali and was rushed back into the starting XI. The veteran striker was off the pace and Struggled to impose herself on the game. Randy Waldrum made a big mistake by risking her despite her injury, and it affected her performance.
