No coach or manager wants a team filled with injured players, but injuries in football are almost impossible to avoid. Note that the true importance of a player will be felt when he/she is injured, especially if there are no replacements.
However, this article will be talking about three top players who'll miss the rest of 2022 due to injury and the players that might replace them. Take a look!

According to recent reports from Diario, Pedri is set to miss the remainder of the year due to a thigh injury. The Golden Boy winner was reported to have restarted his recovery process after he suffered a relapse. Note that he won't be available for Barcelona's last game of the year against Sevilla on the 21st of December.
What this means is that Xavi has to count on Puig, Nico, and Gavi as his replacement.
2. Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian Striker suffered several facial fractures after having a head collision with Skriniar. The in-form striker is expected to be out for three months, and this means Spalletti can't count on him till next year.
What this means is that Luciano Spalletti might count on Andrea Petagna as Osimhen's replacement.
