Former Super Eagles Striker Tops Goal Chart In Saudi Arabia

Former Manchester United and Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo increased his goal tally in the current Saudi Arabian topflight league on Friday night against Al Ittihad .

Inconsistent Al-Ittihad welcomed, Al-Shbaba to the Prince Abdullah stadium in one of the Matchday 9 fixtures in the current Saudi Arabia topflight league with all eyes set in bouncing back to winning ways.

The Former Nigerian international, Odion Ighahlo, shot his side into an early lead at the 22mins in the keenly contested fixture as he clinically finished, Moteb Al Harbi assist, a lead Al-Shbaba held onto as both teams returned back to the locker room.

On return for the second half, Ighahlo bagged a brace and doubled his side lead at the 68min as he feasted on Carlos Carvalho assist, making the game look safe for his side.

With the brace against, Al-Ittihad, Ighalo currently leads the highest goal scorers chart with 8goals, a goal ahead of Argentine Striker, Emilio Zelaya.

It will be recalled the 32years old Nigeria international claimed the September player of the month award after scoring three goals in three league games. The former Manchester United loanee has now matched that tally in as many matches in October.
