Arsenal stand the chance of winning the Europa League this season and if they do they will make it to the Champions League next season. Anything contrary to this, Arsenal will only see themselves in only Europa League.
Mikel Arteta's men will have to prove a point tonight against Olympiacos of Greece as they hope to drive their Europa League journey to reasonable destination.
They are winning and they are losing but this is never a good rhyme. No one is sure where Arsenal will be at the end of this season. Arsenal supporters are curious to see if Arteta will make it to Champions league. These are the questions rolling in the mind of Arsenal enthusiasts.
However, Mikel Arteta has provided answers to the questions. When asked if Arsenal will lift the Europa League to convince people of his project, he said:
You need to win to convince anybody that you are doing a good job and taking the club in the right direction
If you are not inside every day and you know exactly what is happening at the club, the only way to convince anybody is to win.
“It doesn’t matter how well you play, or if you deserve to win every single match. If you don’t win, I am not going to convince you or any fan or supporter that we are doing a great job. It’s only about winning and that’s the only way to convince people.”
