Man United to complete deal of €20m-rated midfield star

Christian Eriksen might soon receive a two-year deal from Manchester United worth £150,000 per week.

Man United will have to outbid Tottenham and Newcastle United for the 30-year-old forward during the summer transfer window.

Eriksen has had a remarkable return to football after suffering a heart attack during Denmark's opening Euro 2020 encounter against Finland last year.

Christian returned to training a few months later, but Serie A rules forbade him from participating in games while sporting an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.

However, as his stint with Inter Milan came to an end, Brentford gave the Danish international a route back to football, and he generously rewarded their faith.

The Danish forward helped the Bees finish comfortably above the drop zone with one goal and four assists in 11 games.

The competition for Eriksen's services, though, includes Manchester United, Tottenham, and Newcastle United now that he is a free agent after his contract with Brentford expired.

It's noteworthy that the Red Devils are intrigued given that Erik ten Hag already has Bruno Fernandes at his disposal and Frenkie de Jong is on his way from Barcelona.

But Christian can play on the right wing and has done so while representing Tottenham under Pochettino's direction.

Because of this, Manchester United is willing to offer the Danish attacker a two-year deal worth £150,000 a year.
