Antonio Conte and Zinedine Zidane are probably the leading candidates in the race due to the fact that they are proven winners and are without a job at the moment, though most United fans would like the Italian to come through the door at Old Trafford. Brendan Rodgers would be difficult to prise away from Leicester City, while former Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag would be an interesting option.

Solskjaer is definitely on his last legs at Old Trafford and it is only a matter of time before he is given the boot. He seems to have lost the dressing room and the time has come for him to move on, having overstayed his welcome and the club will need to make necessary changes if they want to challenge their rivals for the biggest silverware.
