Football transfers are very unpredictable, it can make footballers and coaches who were rivals become teammates. The just-concluded transfer window is an example of the unpredictability that club football can offer.
Mbappé joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, the club has been signing other top footballers to help the team remain competitive, and they got lucky this summer as they were able to sign many top footballers free.
One of the players that Paris Saint-Germain didn't get free though is Achraf Hakimi who was a Real Madrid player for 14 years. He and Kylian currently share a “bromance”, they spend time together, call each other brothers, celebrate their goals together and Hakimi shared why that is happening.
He told L'Equipe that “We are young, we have many things in common, we enjoy the same things. This friendship makes us better and helps us to complement each other on the pitch.”
In 2013, when Mbappé visited Real Madrid for trials 2013, Hakimi was still in the club. If Hakimi didn't leave Real Madrid and Mbappé joined, they would probably be wearing the white jersey in Spain, but they are currently in Paris together.
Hakimi's former coach, Conte, said that his dream is to return to Madrid. This means that these two guys may remain friends for a long time.
