The Nigerian midfielder was yet again at top notch as he keeps his incredible run of form going for the Bees by coming from the bench to inspire them to the crucial comeback win, after his side have been trailing with a goal down going into the second half.
Frank Onyeka started the game from the bench due to tactical reason having established himself as a key figure in the squad paraded by Thomas Frank since his arrival at the club from FC Midtjylland this summer.
Frank Onyeka after coming on replicated his great influx of performance like he delivered in their first two EPL openers against Arsenal and Crystal Palace which was instrumental in the comeback win of the night.
The visitor opened the scoring sheet in the early minutes of the game as Jack Aitchison gave them the lead in the 8th minutes to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides at half time.
In the second half of the game, the host were very clinical with their approach as they displayed some dazzling skills and as such got an equaliser in the 60th minutes with a goal from Yoane Wissa to make it 1-1, before Bryan Mbeumo put them ahead in the 75th minutes to make it two goals to one.
In the 86th minutes of the game, Marcus Forss wrapped it up to make it three goals to one at full time with every other attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night proving abortive.
The crucial win of the night for Brentford has now booked a spot for them in the next round of the competition as they will be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture.
