Why Chelsea Might Not Do Business With Barcelona For Years to Come

Barcelona are reportedly on the verge of signing Chelsea target Jules Kounde. The Catalan club seems to have beaten Chelsea in their race for the 23 year old defender. The Blaugrana have been in a transfer battle with Chelsea for weeks now.

Xavi managed to convince Jules Kounde to wait for Barcelona to come for him because the Blues had already reached an agreement with both the player and the club toward the end of last week.

Barcelona managed to beat Chelsea to secure the signature of Raphinha. The 25 year old forward was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and the club had reached an agreement with Leeds over a transfer fee. However, Raphinha wanted a move to Camp Nou and rejected Chelsea.

The Catalan club have beaten Chelsea to two of their transfer targets this summer ruining Thomas Tuchel's plan as they prepare ahead of next season challenge.

The Blues were highly interested in signing Jules Kounde and Raphinha this summer but Barcelona beat them in the transfer race.

Xavi want Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso to join Barcelona this summer. The two players have been linked with a move to Camp Nou but since Barcelona ruined Thomas Tuchel plans this summer. Chelsea may be unwilling to do business with the Catalan club for years to come.

The Blues are not happy with Barcelona and they will likely stop Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso moves to Camp Nou. However, Barcelona are still confident of signing Azpilicueta this summer.
