Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now feeling the heat from the fans and journalists after falling to a disappointing defeat against Liverpool at Old Trafford. The manager took over from Jose Mourinho in 2019, and since then the Norwegian tactician has failed to win any silverware for the team.
The board as well as the club's hierarchy seems to be reluctant in sacking the manager who took Cardiff City to relegation before moving to his country Norway where he took the job of Mole manager. Manchester United have won only three of their last nine games in all competitions, which is a very poor record for a team that has quality players like Ronaldo, Cavani, Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, and Marcus Rashford.
The manager needs to be sacked, and here are the reasons why the board should appoint a new manager before the Tottenham game at the weekend.
1. Regain winning confidence.
Manchester United needs to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as soon as possible to avoid moving too down in the premier league. The Red Devils are now sitting seventh in the Premier League and could go below that if they lose against Tottenham Hotspur in the coming week.
Secondly, it's now obvious that Manchester United are not title contenders anymore, but if they sack the Norwegian before the rest of the difficult fixtures, they could find their feet and move back to where they belong.
