Super Eagles stars having been making huge impacts for their respective clubs in the 2021/2022 Europa League and Europa Conference League. Here are four players that were on the scoresheet in week 3 of the competition;
1, Leon Balogun: The 33 year-old Super Eagles and Rangers defender, scored the opener for Rangers in their 2-0 win against Brondy at the Europa League. This is his first goal for the Scottish club and his first competitive goal (for a club) since 2018, after netting once for Brighton against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
2, Taiwo Awoniyi: Despite suffering an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League, he managed to score a consolation goal and his fifth goal in the last four games (in all competitions). That was also his 10th goal for Union Berlin in 14 appearances across all competitions.
3, Stephen Odey : The 23 year-old scored a brace against FK Jablonec in the Europa Conference League for his Danish club making it his 9th goal in 19 games. The Nigerian international has been a revelation at the Danish Süper Lig since moving to Randers on loan from Genk.
4, Victor Osimhen: The 22 year-old came on as a substitute to score the second goal in Napoli's 3-0 win against Legia Warsaw in the Europa League. He has now scored nine goals in just 10 appearances this season across all competitions, 5 Serie A goals and 4 in the European competition.
