Chelsea Fans Have No Right To Be Outraged By Jorginho's Comments About His New Teammates

In an interview with Arsenal media, new signing Jorginho revealed his excitement and joy over his move to the north London club after years on the west side of the city with Chelsea FC.

The Italian midfielder was a very popular figure in the blues team that achieved so much success over the last 5 years and has now gone to take up a new challenge with Mikel Arteta's Arsenal.

"Working with Mikel, it’s been really nice. We tried before; I know he tried before and me too! Because he wanted to have me in his team and work with me, it was the same for me.

"I’m finally really happy that we have this challenge and this path to go on with... "

In the interview, the midfielder spoke of his new teammates in high standards and claimed he's now happy to be on their side. This didn't sit well with majority of Chelsea fans who have been outraged by the comments of their ex-vice-captain.

Jorginho: "I didn’t know much about my teammates, I just played against them a few times, which was really difficult! (laughs).

"I’m happy to be on their side now. They are just amazing players and really, really good guys. They are very easy to work with."

According to these fans, Jorginho, being a former vice captain of Chelsea shouldn't be saying things like this so quickly.

In my opinion, they have no right to be outraged and even criticise the Italian. We all know, and he knows too, that majority of Chelsea fans don't respect and appreciate him.

For someone who was always the scapegoat whenever things weren't going well, if he says he is happy to have left Chelsea, then he has every right to say that. And no fan has the right to be outraged by those words because he was never treated well by the majority of the fanbase.

Thankfully, some fans understood the midfielder and saw nothing wrong in what he said because as a professional, what Jorginho said is very normal.
