The Nigerian midfielder retained his spot in his team's starting XI following his incredible performance for the club in their previous game where he made a brace of assist.
He was yet again at the heart of the centre-field for the host as he started alongside Andrei Girotto, Ludovic Blas and Pedro Chirivella with the latters bagging a goal each which was instrumental in the 3-1 win of the night.
Ludovic Blas opened the scoring sheet in the 27th minute for the host to make it one night which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into the half time break.
The host as the dominant side of the night were able to double their lead with a goal from Pedro Chirivella in the 55th minute to make it two nil, before Lilian Brassier scored an own-goal to make it three for the host after putting the ball into his own net in the 58th minute.
The visitor in the 67th minute were able to put one back as a consolation goal scored by Jeremy Le Douaron to make it three goals to one.
After several attempts from both sides to add more to the tally of the night, all proved futile as it ended three goals to one at full time.
Nantes with win now currently sit at the 6th spot on the table with 10 points in 7 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
