The 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup will begin later today in Argentina but the Flying Eagles of Nigeria will have to wait until Sunday night before they face the Dominican Republic in their opening group-stage game of the campaign. 
The Ladan Bosso-led team will be going into the Sunday opener against the Dominican Republic off the back of their 3-3 draw against Colombia in their last warm-up game a few days ago, and they will be looking for a victory to begin their World Cup mission on a promising note.
Nigeria U20 will face Italy in their second group-stage game of the 2023 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday, May 24, where they will be looking for a victory over the European lads to enhance their qualification for the next phase of the tournament.
The Flying Eagles will confront Brazil in one of the most anticipated fixtures of the U20 World Cup on Saturday, May 27.
