It is no longer news that Aston Villa FC sacked its team manager, Dean Smith, last Sunday. The team seeks to test the managerial ability of the former Liverpool captain who has done excellently well for himself and his team Rangers FC in Scotland.
The former Liverpool player has made Rangers FC a force to reckon with again after the reign of its arch rival, Celtic FC, in the Scottish Premier League.
There is a certain amount of fear that greets former players of the English Premiership as they return to their familiar turf as team managers.
You will return call that quite a good number of former players have all returned as coach. They include Arteta, Ole, Viera, Lampard and a couple more.
We wish Steven a good time as he returns and hope he adds spice to the premiership with his future team, Aston Villa FC.
Hopefully all agreements are met and he sits in the dug-out as the coach come November 20 when matches resume across Europe.
