UEFA Europa League football action returned today as several group stage matches went down in the matchday two of the competition. Several teams displayed remarkable performances in the competition as they did well in securing maximum points against their different oppositions.
West Ham United had a brilliant day in the UEFA Europa League when they welcomed Rapid Wien to the London Stadium. The Hammers comfortably defeated Rapid Wien 2-0 thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Said Benrahma.
Leicester City lost disappointingly when they visited the Polish Army Stadium to face Legia Warszawa on Thursday evening. The home side secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Leicester City thanks to a solitary goal from Mahir Emeli.
Napoli also lost disappointingly in the Europa League today when they hosted Spartak Moscow at the Stadio Diego Armanda Maradona. The visitors defeated Napoli 3-2 thanks to double efforts from Quincy Promes with Mikhail Ignatov also scoring a goal in the match.
