It is yet another season in the world of football with the actions happening live across Europe. Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United whom I will say are big teams as far as the English Premier League (EPL) is concerned, are all taking part in the UEFA Champions League this season, while Tottenham, Arsenal and Leicester, which are also EPL teams, are involved in the UEFA Europa League, with all the action happening this week and forth.

This photo below carries a player representative of each of the four EPL teams which we are considering in this article.

The group stages of the competition (Champions League) kicked off yesterday Tuesday October 20th, and will continue today Wednesday October 21st, of which these days have been scheduled as Matchday 1 for this stage of the competition.

Let us now look at how the fixtures of these these four teams (Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United) look like from now till December. Meanwhile, you should take note that these fixtures do not cover only Champions League, but also other competitions for the teams in focus for this article.

You might analyze them and from your point of view, let me know which of the teams have the Toughest fixtures

Liverpool

From the look of things, at least on paper, Liverpool's post-Champions League fixtures seem to be relatively kind, of which they will have clashes against the likes of Sheffield United, West Ham, Brighton and Fulham. Also, they are evenly split with three home matches and three away matches.

Within the space of 21 days, Klopp's side being the Champions, have to come face to face and trade tackles against Atlanta (twice) and Manchester City. From the schedule of the fixtures, they will also have a tricky-looking trip to Wolves hot on the tie with Ajax at the start of December.

This squad is sure to be tested during these fixtures which I can call a hectic one, seeing that centre-back Virgil van Dijk is battling with injury.

Manchester City

After Champions League fixtures, Manchester City takes on West Ham, Sheffield United and Fulham. This is also similar to the fixtures of Liverpool. Just a few days after a trip to Olympiakos, City will host Burnley, and this will be at the end of November.

For the purpose of Analysis, immediately after the Champions League clashes, City have three games at home and also three games away. In these six games split evenly home and away, they have huge fixtures at home to Liverpool and a derby at Manchester United.

Chelsea

Kicking off their European campaign with a fixture to host Sevilla at Home, and then four days after, they will pay a visit to Old Trafford to trade tackles with Manchester United, I think Frank Lampard's side may have some seemingly hazardous-looking fixtures to deal with.

The Blues will also have to face a tough-looking opposition in Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United and Everton after theor Champions League clashes. The Blues also have a split of three home and three away games on the back of Champions League contests, just as Liverpool and Manchester City.

Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will host Chelsea at home on Saturday, just four days after their Champions League game at PSG. United will also host another top-four rival in Arsenal four days after a home clash with RB Leipzig. The returning leg against Leipzig in Germany, a fixture which concludes the group phase of the Champions will be played before The Red Devils will host Manchester City in the Manchester derby.

In between those three Old Trafford fixtures, United will face Everton, Southampton and West Ham.
