Chelsea FC become the first team to score 6 or more goals in the Premier League

Chelsea football club have set a new record after defeating relegation threatening Norwich City FC 7-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Thomas Tuchel led team have been exceptional since the beginning of the 2021/2022 English Premier League season, and their excellent form has guided them to the top spot of the League table.

The UEFA Champions League defending champions have won their last three matches in all competitions, and they were able to extend their winning streak to 4.

The Blues are yet to drop a point since they've been defeated 1-0 at Stamford Bridge by Manchester City FC in September, and that has really helped them to cement their spot on top of the League table.

Chelsea football club have been able to gathered 22 points out of possible 27 points in the English Premier League this season, and that's the most by any team in the league this season, (they've registered 7 victories, one draw and a defeat from the 9 League matches played).

Goals from Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi, an own goal from Maximilian James Aaron, and a hat-trick from England national team star Mason Mount were enough to give the Blues their biggest victory of the season (7-0).

With Chelsea football club's 7-0 victory, it means they've become the first club in the English Premier League history to score 6 or more goals against 18 club-side.

"This is the 18th time Chelsea football club have scored 6+ goals in a Premier League match, more often than any other side in the competition's history."

The Blues have only conceded three goals in the English Premier League this season (a penalty kick against Liverpool, a goal from Manchester City FC, and another penalty kick against Southampton FC), and that's the fewest goal conceded by an English club-side this season.

The Blues will now be looking forward to building on their excellent performance when they play their next game.
