Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi will miss Super Eagles' upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Central African Republic.
The midfielder pulled out from the squad due to injury, and he became the third high-profile player to pull out of the game, after Oghenekaro Etebo and Wilfred Ndidi.
Meanwhile, FC Lorient of France striker Terem Moffi has been invited to the squad as Alex Iwobi's replacement.

The choice of Moffi came as a surprise to me because, I don't think he's the kind of player to replace Iwobi.
Rohr shouldn't have added another striker to the team when, he has Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu available.
The Franco-German should have called up someone like Kingsley Michael, to strengthen the midfield because they are short of players in that department.

Michael Kingsley played an excellent game against Cape Verde last month and proved he is good enough to help the team when the big boys are not available.

He would have given the squad more balance and qualities than Terem Moffi who might not even get a chance to play.
