Tuchel And 4 Other Managers Who Could Replace Steve Bruce At Newcastle United

Newcastle United has parted ways with their manager Steve Bruce following a run of unimpressive results in the English premier league.

The English gaffer is leaving the club barely 3 days after losing 3-2 to Tottenham Hotspurs on matchday 8 of the season, a result which leaves the club languishing in 19th place.

However, the Tyneside club lost 5 matches and drew 3 so far this season and Steve Bruce reportedly leaves on mutual consent and that means a new man must take charge in his absence.

Graeme Jones has been installed as the interim boss and he will be assisted by Simon Smith, Steve Agnew, Ben Dawson, and Stephen Clemence.

However, The Magpies are now on the hunt for a manager that will do the job permanently, and here is the list of people who should be considered for the role.

The Manchester City boss is a very good and disciplined football manager, who has coached many clubs in Europe and he has won many trophies to show his worth.

Pep Guardiola has recently said he won't be renewing his contract at the Etihad Stadium, and that means he could be persuaded into taking the Newcastle United job.

(2) Frank Lampard

The former Chelsea player and manager have been earmarked for the Newcastle United job.

Frank Lampard is currently a free agent and should he be called to take over the Magpies job, he won't feel reluctant to do that.

(3) Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel took charge of a languishing Chelsea side in 2020 and in barely 6 months he turned them into Champions League winners, and he also lead them to a top 4 finish in the EPL.

(4) Zinedine Zidane

The Frenchman is another option that is currently without a job and should an offer comes from Newcastle United, then he would be back into club management.

Zinedine Zidane is a born winner, and his transformer of Real Madrid speaks in that regard. The world cup winner led the Spanish giant into 3 back to back champions league triumphs.

(5) Steven Gerrard

The former Liverpool player turned head coach of Rangers football club is another option that should be considered for the Newcastle job.

Steven Gerrard led his side to the Scottish premiership triumph last season putting an end to Celtic's years of dominance.
