Preview Of The Five Matches That Will Be Played Today

The international break is finally over, and both fans, and players are getting ready to return back to club side football.

We saw some fixtures played yesterday, and Bayern Munich defeat against Augsburg was among yesterday's game highlight.

Well, let's checkout today games, and fans would be hopeful their respective club sides would get a win today, mostly those with new managers.

5. Barcelona Vs Espanyol

The "Derbi Barceloni," would be Xavi first game as Barcelona manager, and no better way to show how capable you are of doing the job, than winning against your local rivals.

I expect a straight win from Barcelona, they would look to recover lost ground in the race for the La Liga title.

Likely Scoreline: Barcelona 3 - 0 Espanyol.

4. Borussia Dortmund Vs VFB Stuttgart

Borussia Dortmund would be hugely motivated following, Bayern Munich shocking defeat last night, they would hope to cut the points tally down to one (1) point, if they win today.

Stuttgart currently occupy the relegation playoff zone, in the Bundesliga league, so Dortmund should have no problem, getting all three points.

Likely Scoreline: Borussia Dortmund 2 - 1 VFB Stuttgart.

3. PSG Vs Nantes

A win for PSG is all I can say, I don't see how Nantes would manage even a draw, in today's game.

Most of the PSG players would be coming into the squad, after exciting performances with their national teams.

Likely Scoreline: PSG 3 - 0 Nantes.

2. Lazio Vs Juventus

This one game fans of the Serie A ought to be on the lookout for, two quality sides in the Serie A, and who are just separated by about three places on the table.

A draw might be the most visible scoreline in this fixture, so I expect both teams to share the points.

Likely Scoreline: Lazio 1 - 1 Juventus.

1. Liverpool Vs Arsenal

Underestimate Arsenal at your own peril, despite their early struggles in the beginning of the season, they are now two points shy of the top three.

Liverpool, since defeating Manchester United have seen a dip in form, and Arsenal would sure have that in the backs of their mind.

Likely Scoreline: Liverpool 0 - 1 Arsenal.
