How Chelsea Raised Lukaku's £98m Transfer Fee Through The Sales Of Eight Players

Chelsea's board deserves to receive some accolades for the incredible work they've been doing in the ongoing transfer window. The club has shown conservative, wise, judicious skills in the transfer market. Their imminent sales of a striker could see them generate the exact amount they use in securing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.

Chelsea signed Lukaku for a reported fee of £98m to bolster their attack this season. The Belgian became the club's second signing.

As a result of lack of playing time, Guehi joined Crystal Palace on a permanent deal. He played the whole game of their 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

8. Tammy Abraham (£40m) (But Not Yet Official)

Abraham's move to AS Roma has not been announced but a respected sports Journalist, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the deal is done and will be announced in the next few days. The Italian club will pay Chelsea around £40m.

Moreover, Abraham was seen leaving Chelsea with his luggage on Saturday which prompts many Chelsea supporters to wish him all the best for the future.

Therefore, Chelsea will raise a total amount of £98m which is equal to the cash they used to purchase Lukaku.
