Predictions for Thursday's Europa League fixtures

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Royal Antwerp

Frankfurt merely needs to avoid defeat to qualify for the next round, and they can potentially win the match on Thursday. The Bundesliga team is in terrific form entering into this one, having won three straight games and only suffered two defeats in their last 15 games across all competitions.

With one point from four games, Royal Antwerp is at the bottom of Group D. The Belgians have only won two of their past eight games in all competitions, and they lost 1-0 to Frankfurt earlier this season in the first meeting.

Olympia vs Fenerbahce

Olympiacos' back-to-back losses have blasted Group D wide open. The Greeks are in second place, but they are only a point ahead of Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce will be full of confidence after a last-minute triumph over Galatasaray at the weekend.

Olympiacos will be feeling quite good about themselves after defeating AEK Athens 3-2 in their last match.

In what should be a tense contest on and off the field, home advantage could be crucial.

Rangers vs Sparta Prague

Sparta Prague enters Thursday's contest after losing 4-0 away to Slovacko. In their most recent Europa League match, they were defeated 3-0 by Lyon.

It's difficult to predict the outcome of this match. Sparta Prague are in poor form, but how will Rangers respond to Gerrard's departure and the arrival of Van Bronckhorst? At the very least, Van Bronckhorst has the benefit of playing at home.

Monaco vs Real Sociedad

Monaco has gone winless in their previous four games, but they have drew their last three.

Since losing their first game of the season, Real Sociedad had gone 17 games without losing in all competitions.

Monaco leads the group by two points over Sociedad, although a straight draw between the two sides is unlikely.
