Chelsea take on Manchester city in the semi-finals of the FA cup today at Wembley stadium and Thomas Tuchel’s men will be looking to cause an upset at Wembley.
The blues go into the semi-final tie as underdogs, but in football you can write off a team like Chelsea.
However,if Chelsea are to defeat Manchester city, they must use the below Line-up because of city's midfield brilliance.
The above Line-up also displays Manchester city’s expected starting 11.
Manchester city expected Line-up
Goalkeeper: Zack Steffen
Defenders: Kyle Walker,Ruben Dias,John Stones,Joao Cancelo.
Midfielders: Rodri, Gundogan,De Bruyne,Foden,Sterling
Forward: Bernardo Silva.
Chelsea Expected Line-up
Goalkeeper: Edouard Mendy
Defenders: Azplilicueta,Kurt Zouma, Rudiger
Wing Backs: Hudson-odoi, Chilwell
Forward: Kai Havertz
Manchester city are expected to rest Ederson with the champions league semi-final in mind and they'll be without Sergio Aguero for today's crunch tie vs Chelsea. Manchester city are expected to come out strongly and Chelsea must find the key to breaking city's defensive resolve.
Chelsea on the other hand, will be without Mateo Kovacic, but N’golo Kante is fit and is expected to partner Jorginho in midfield,Reece James have had quite a number of games in recent weeks and Hudson-odoi is tipped to start ahead of him today so he could get some rest. Timo Werner is expected to come off the bench as the game progresses, with Thomas Tuchel expected to stick with the same forward combination of Pulisic, Mount and Havertz.
Meanwhile,my quick prediction for today's game is a 2-1 win for Chelsea.
Please leave a comment on your prediction let me know what you think.
