Remember Dele Aiyenugba, the ex-Nigerian shot stopper. Meet his son who is also a goalkeeper.

Nigeria international goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba was born on 20th November 1983 in Jos, Nigeria.

He is a Nigerian footballer who is currently Unattached after his last stint at Hapoel Afula of Israel. 

The 35-year-old lists Kwara Stars, Enyimba, Bnei Yehuda, Hapoel Ashkelon and Hapoel Iksal as his former clubs.

Aiyenugba was mainly a back up to Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide at the national team. However, he made 17 appearances last played for the Super Eagles against Guinea in 2011.

His honours includes four Nigerian Premier League titles, four Nigerian FA Cup titles, one Nigerian Super Cup and two CAF Champions League titles. He also won the African Super Cup on two occasions.

Aiyenugba is a three-time African Cup of Nations Bronze Medallist.

His son, Daniel Aiyenugba has taken after his father by becoming a goalkeeper.

It would be recalled that Daniel helped Kwara state win the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Future Eagles U-13 championship (North Central Zone) in 2013, when he was a student at the Stephen Fountain Primary School, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Daniel who is now 13 is progressing and hoping to take his game to the highest level, like his father.
