Chelsea youngster wins Man of the Match award despite Chelsea's 0:1 loss to Porto

Chelsea battled with Portugal side, Porto FC this evening in the second leg of the UEFA Champions league Quarterfinal. The match was supposed to be played at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's home stadium, but was moved to Seville, Spain due to Covid-19 concerns.

The game ended 0:1 in favour of Porto after they managed to score from a sensational bicycle kick in the 90th minute. Chelsea who had earlier won 2:0 at the latter's home has therefore invariably moved to the next stage of the competition, with the aggregate score being 2:1.

Despite Chelsea's loss tonight, 22 year old winger, Christian Pulisic took home the man of the match award for his overall tireless performance throughout the course of tonight's game. Pulisic was fouled a total of 11 times, the most recorded by any player in a Champions league game, in the past five seasons.

He also had, and created a number of chances which unfortunately weren't converted.
