Zidane is a wanted coach throughout Europe, but it is uncertain which team he will coach next.

After several successful and trophy-filled years on the Real Madrid coaches' bench, Zinedine Zidanes's tenure at the club did not end as he had hoped. The Frenchman has been out of the game for five months and is attracting the interest of several major clubs across Europe.

In his time away from the spotlight, Zidane has rested, spent time with his children and returned to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to see his beloved Real Madrid. He has also participated in paddle tennis advertising campaigns.

Manchester United have been cited as a possible target for Zidane in the near future, while voices in France say he could one day take over from Paris Saint-Germain or the French national team.

The English press has also touted him as a potential target for the new wealthy Newcastle United following its acquisition by Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.

Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are not in their best shape at the moment and Cristiano Ronaldo's Champions League goal against Atalanta is considered by many to be saved to save his head coach job.

Zidane is considered to be one of the preferred options to replace the Norwegian should he receive his marching orders. In his last time out of football, Zidane was out of the game for nine months before Florentino Pérez received a call to return to Real Madrid.

While he doesn't seem in a rush to get back in the game right now, he certainly won't be short of options if he does decide to return.
