Chelsea will try to avoid a third defeat in a row when they host Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues have suffered two consecutive 1-0 defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Juventus. The Blues struggled to create meaningful chances in those two games, which has fans concerned. However, Chelsea has never lost three games in a row under Tuchel and I'm sure he would like to keep it that way on Saturday by beating Southampton.

With a number of injury concerns, including Recce James and Pulisic, as well as a number of out-of-form players in the squad, Tuchel will have his work cut out for him to inspire his team back to winning ways.

Seeing how the team performed against Juventus on Wednesday, here are three changes he should make to his starting XI for Saturday's clash with Ralph Hasenhuttl's side;

Ben Chilwell in, Marcos Alonso out

Against Juventus, Marcos Alonso was hauled off at half time after failing to produce an impressive performance. This certainly looks like a sign that the Spaniard may be benched against Southampton on Saturday.

The 30-year-old may have had a good start to the season, but his deficiencies were exposed against Manchester City and Juventus.

Chilwell, on the other hand, hasn't made much appearances for Chelsea since the start of the season. He may not have impressed against Aston Villa, but his second half performance against Juventus were much more productive. He's performance was far more better than Alonso and as such should be included in the starting XI to face Southampton on Saturday.

Mason Mount in, Hakim Ziyech out

Mason Mount was unavailable for the game against Juventus after picking up an injury in last week's Carabao Cup game against Aston Villa. He should replace Ziyech if he is fit, this will go some way to boasting the team attack.

Callum Hudson-Odoi in, Cesar Azpilicueta out

With Reece James still unavailable for Saturday's game, i will suggest that Hudson Odoi should take his place. Azpillicuta is a good player, no doubt, but Hudson Odoi has the ability to dribble down the flank which Azpillicuta lacks. He should be included in the Starting XI to help boast chelsea attack.

Ruben Loftus-cheek in, Jorgingo

The English deserve a start in Saturday's game. He was impressive against Juventus despite having not much time to play. Jorginho on the other hand, has failed in his midfield duties, as we saw against Juventus and Manchester City.

What can you say about this?
