Observations From Super Eagles’ Training Session Yesterday Ahead Of Their Game Against CAR

The Nigerian Super Eagles who lost their previous game 0:1 against the Central African Republic were seen training yesterday in Doula ahead of their second fixture which will be played in Stade Barthelemy Boganda Stadium later today at 2:00 pm. During the training session yesterday there were few observations made and this article states them.

The Super Eagles will be going into the game in search of three points that could make them stand firm on top of Group C with nine points.

1. Nigerian two central defenders, Ekong and Balogun were leading other players during the training session yesterday, showing how physically fit they were.

The Nigerian Super Eagles defense line was focused all through the game not until the 89th minute of the game when the Central African Republic player launched an attack and the defenders were not able to resist the attack and it lead to the decisive goal in the match. Hopefully, with the combination of Ekong and Balogun in the Nigerian center back today, the Super Eagles will do better.

2. The Nigerian Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr was dishing out decisive instructions to all players during yesterday's training session.

3. Former Super Eagles star player Joseph Yobo was with the team during their training session yesterday at Doula.

His presence yesterday meant a lot for most players as he is seen giving professional advice to some players.
