Should Son Heung-Min be considered a Tottenham Hotspur legend?

Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min is undoubtedly one of the English Premier League's most underrated wingers and his output for Tottenham Hotspur has proven that fact. The South Korea international is Tottenham's 5th highest goalscorer in EPL history. Only Harry Kane (166), Teddy Sheringham (97), Jermain Defoe (91) and Keane (91) has more Premier League goals that Son (70).

Son is not only a prolific goalscorer, he is also a goal creator as he is 5th on the list of players with most assists provided for Tottenham Hotspur in the EPL. Only Anderton (67), Christian Eriksen (62), Aaron Lennon (45) and Teddy Sheringham (44) has more assists that Son (39).

Son Heung-min had one of his best season at Tottenham last season, he scored 17 goals and provided 10 assists in 37 EPL games. Son also created an average of 2.2 chances, had 2.1 take-ons completed and had 2 shots attempted per 90 minutes.

Son Heung Min has signed a new deal with Tottenham until 2025, a reward for his 109 Goals and assists contribution (70 goals and 39 assists) for the club in 197 EPL games. Son Heung-Min is the only player to register double figures for both goals and assists in each of the last two Premier League campaigns.
