In a bit to bring back the glory days, Manchester United have expended tons of money to put together a star studded squad. Other than the Champions league defeat, the Red Devils are still unbeaten in the Premier league and currently occupy third position leveled on points with the two teams above them.
However, their positive results has been down to a couple of players who have put in outstanding performances since the beginning of the season.
1- Paul Pogba
The Frenchman has started all of United's six games this campaign and his seven assists is definitely a proof of how important he has been to his team. Pogba's versatility allows him to roam freely around the pitch and that's why he's been brilliant so far.
With four goals and two assists so far, Fernandes contributions cannot be overemphasized. He is one of Manchester United's most potent attackers and hasn't disappointed so far this season.
3- Mason Greenwood
After bagging three goals consecutively in his first three games, the youngster walked away with Manchester United's player of the month award for August.
4- Cristiano Ronaldo
He has scored a goal in every game he has played since his return to Manchester United and that hasn't surprise anyone at all. If the Red Devils are to win something tangible this season, then they need the Portugese International firing from all angles.
5- David De Gea
Without him, the Red contingent of Manchester would have dropped more than two points in the Premier league so far. The Spaniard has been there to make crucial saves, but none was more impressive than his penalty save at Upton Park last weekend.
6- Luke Shaw
The Englishman has been nothing short of excellence so far this season, his defensive and offensive runs has been crucial for his team. Other than the penalty he conceded against West Ham United, there has been no fault in Luke Shaw's game.
Conclusively, these are the six players that have been game changers for Manchester United so far this season and if the rest of their teammates can replicate the same form, the team will be unstoppable going forward.
