Anthony Joshua has dropped from being the number one to the number three heavyweight in the world, while this rating doesn't affect his value in anyway it can be said this occurred due to his poor performance against Oleksandr Usyk. Although there is definitely a rematch coming up by 2022, there are some things that Anthony Joshua overlooks and would deter him from claiming back his throne.
From what I have noticed from how conducted his training up to the point he fought the “Cat” Usyk, there are 2 mistakes that he needs to rectify. Read below;
1. He should stop showing his fitness training on social media
During the course of preparation for his fight against Usyk, Anthony Joshua shared some very interesting photos of himself on social media showing his weight loss which revealed his intentions to fight Usyk as a lighter boxer and not going with his usual heavy and aggressive style of combat. As this pictures went viral on the internet, it was as if he was alerting his opponent of how he intends to match up to him.

2. He should desist from showing his fans his techniques during training
This is another mistake that Anthony Joshua is also fond of, for many months before his fight with Usyk A. J showed off his skills of how he intends to handle Usyk's unique southpaw style of boxing. And his numerous display of videos of himself doing his shadow boxing shows what kind of skills he is practicing and that gives his opponent plenty of time to prepare as well as see the flaw in his technique.
