Bruno Fernandes vs De Jong Head-to-Head Stats This Season. Who is Better?

It has been a while since Manchester United and Barcelona battled it out in the Europa League. The English giant advanced to the next stage after producing an impressive performance comeback display twice to overpower Xavi Hernandez and his boys. United talisman Bruno Fernandes and Barcelona midfield maestro Frenkie De Jong have emerged in the limelight of fans comparison since the match took place.

Both players are one of the best in their various possessions, with Bruno picking up a more attacking role than De Jong, so their comparison won't center much on goals but on quality. Bruno Fernandes has emerged as one of the most important players in Erik Ten Hag's squad and has been at the center of United's rebuilding process since he joined from Sporting Lisbon.

The Portuguese international has a shot accuracy of 54.2%, a 78% pass completion rate, as well as 0.26 assists rate every 90 minutes.

Frenkie on the other hand is one of the most sorts after midfielders in Europe. Frenkie is known for his ability to dribble and break the press whenever the opposition pressures him. Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag will be the happiest man if he signs De Jong in the upcoming summer having failed to lure him to Old Trafford last summer.

The Netherlands international has scored two goals and registered two assists for the Catalans in all competitions. Apart from the goals, Frenkie averages a shot completion rate of 90.6%, alongside a dribble success of 70%, and also 1.39 key passes in every game which leads to scoring.

Who do you think is better? In my own opinion, I believe Frenkie De Jong is a more complete midfielder. Considering his pass accuracy and his completion rate, Bruno Fernandes is no way near the Dutchman.
