The Red Devils are under an increased pressure after securing only one victory in four games but Arsene Wenger (who had experienced such crises before at Arsenal) said Solskjaer should not make statements that will create a deeper crises at the club, but the Norwegian should rather protect his players and have words with them.
According to the Mirror, the 72 year old said the embattled coach should have words with his players after the big loss. The Frenchman told beIN Sports : "You could say a few words and the first thing is to protect the club and the team, as much as you can use the press".
"Not to come out with statements and create an even a deeper crisis. You know where you are in the crisis, and you know you have a lot of work to do to get that just mentally right again in the team because that's a massive blow".
"Overall you try just to not make (things) more bad than it is already and to give that message to the players".
