Liverpool are on a wonderful run in Anfield Stadium but Burnley turns things around on Thursday night. Burnley defeated Liverpool in their stadium, Anfield where Liverpool have not lost a game since 2017.
Liverpool are top of the game until Alisson Becker trips Burnley striker, Ashley Barnes and a penalty was blown for Burnley, which was later converted by Ashley Barnes.
When Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp was asked about the game, he said "We really did well, we're are just unlucky not to find the target. Burnley is a great team that can beat you with their counter attack, I knew that before the game"
Jurgen Klopp on the penalty, he said "Yeah, it is a penalty, VAR didn't have to check that. I think Alisson went to far and he committed a penalty"
